This Dog is All of Us During This Lion King Scene
Movies have been known to strike an emotional chord with us from time to time. But, it’s usually surprising when it comes from an illustrated movie. Personally, I got emotional when Lightning McQueen turned down the Dinoco sponsorship. He would have had a fresh new paint job, would have gotten all the girl cars he wanted and would have finally gotten away from all those rusty cars! What was he thinking??!
However, when it comes to emotional cartoon movies or, “cartoovies”, Disney is king. There are debates as to the most emotional Disney moment: Bing Bong fading into the abyss of ‘Forgotten Memories’ in “Inside Out” and pretty much all of “Fox & the Hound.” But “The Lion King” has got to reign supreme. Simba’s death scene has even got this pitbull all up in his feels…
