Here's the good news: it's more than twice as expensive to rent in L.A. as it is here in Vegas. It's almost four times as expensive to rent in San Francisco, so basically, you don't even want to think about ever moving to California. On the other hand, for a real steal, you'll have to move to Akron, Ohio or Shreveport, Louisiana.
