Now that we're an NFL town - thanks, Las Vegas Raiders! - we're getting The Shield's big Spring event: the NFL draft. Oh, and America's sporting Goliath is definitely putting a Vegas spin on the affair.
The people in suits who make the big draft decisions will be located next to Caesars Forum. And the stage? It looks like it's going to be on the water by the Fountains of Bellagio. And yeah, the players will be taken to the stage by boat.
We're assuming the league plans to hit on every Vegas cliché they can, so we're waiting to hear about the NFL's plans to have showgirls parachuting in with Elvis impersonators.
This will be cool: in the Fan Experience area, the Raiders' three Vince Lombardi trophies - the ones they got for winning the Super Bowl - will be on hand for your viewing enjoyment.
Oh, and traffic on The Strip will be a complete mess. (Where have you heard that before?) We'll share more bizarre details as we learn them.
