Liam Payne Sort Of Confirms A One Direction Reunion Is Happening
According to Liam Payne, a One Direction reunion is happening. Fans have been speculating for weeks that the band was planning on getting back together for their tenth anniversary after several hints and clues surfaced online.
As we reported, Harry, Niall, Louis, Liam, and the official One Direction Twitter account has all re-followed Zayn Malik; all five members’ albums are back on Apple Music, and the old One Direction website has been reactivated.
Now, in a recent Instagram Live session with DJ Alesso, Liam has, sort of, given fans confirmation that the band will get back together. Per E! News, DJ Alesso said to Liam, “Oh my god dude… there’s so many One Direction questions. But I feel like I don’t want to put you on the spot because I know you can’t say too much.” Liam then shared that he has been communicating with Niall on FaceTime. At one point, he says, “most of us are in London, we’ve been trying to arrange the first group FaceTime with the boys at the moment.”
Afterward, Liam adds, “I can’t say too much. Louis told me off for revealing a bit of our plans the other day, so you’re going to have the group chat telling me off.”
