Lil Nas X has responded to homophobic comments from Boosie Badazz, having jokingly said he has never felt "so mortified" in his life in a trolling message back.

The "Scoop" singer had originally joked that he had a new song coming out with Louisianan rapper Boosie, who didn't seem to find it funny in the slightest.

The "Wipe Me Down" rapper retaliated by posting an offensive tweet with homophobic slurs, also telling the 22-year-old to "commit suicide."

Boosie wrote on Twitter, "STOP TROLLING ME F----- LOL U A WHOLE B---- PLAYING WITH A GANGSTA SMH U CAN KEEP SUCKING D--- N GETTIN F----- N YOUR A-- N PEACE N #uhateyourself I WOULD TOO IF I WAS YOU LOL NASx IF YOU #commitsuicide YOU WOULD DO THIS WORLD A HUGE FAVOR NOBODY WANTS YOU HERE."

The tweet has since been deleted after violating Twitter's code of conduct, with a notice explaining: "This tweet is no longer available because it violated the Twitter rules."

Seemingly responding to the tweet, Lil Nas X said he feels "truly saddened," only to go on to joke that it's because the Disney Channel hasn't shown the seasonal 1998 film Halloweentown yet.

Appearing to troll Boosie, Lil Nas X wrote: "I am truly saddened. I have never been so mortified in my life. I can't believe disney channel has yet to play halloween town this entire October."

To which Disney Channel's official Twitter actually responded, "Our bad":

Fans joined in on the joke with one person writing, "There is absolutely no excuse for that type of ignorance when they know Halloweentown is a classic."

Another person said, "LMFAOOOOO this tweet is gonna make boosie even more mad im crying rn," to which someone pointed out, "Lil Nas X a professional instigator."

"Boosie raging and Lil Nas X is like:" wrote another fan joining in on making fun of the 38-year-old rapper.
