Y’know that big party weekend that brings tourists to town every year?

Okay, besides Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, every three-day weekend, and pretty much every single weekend of the year.

This is the one that ends with a football game with all sorts of ridiculous prop bets like “Who’ll Win The Opening Coin Toss?” “Will The National Anthem Singer Cause A Global Crisis?” and “Which One Of Your Friends Will Toss Their Waffles After Eating One Too Many Jumbo Shrimp At Some Off-Strip Casino’s Buffet?”

Anyway, the Big Day is February 11, 2024 when Super Bowl LVIII happens at Allegiant Stadium. (Super Bowls, if you didn’t already know, are so important that they can’t be referred to by mere numbers. You have to use Roman numerals.)

Hold up. Star 107-9 is important too. How does this look?

Okay, that’s not gonna work. Anyway, you’ve got a little over two years to get ready to party like it’s 2024, which is what it’ll be when the Big Game arrives.

And while we’re at it, let’s hope that, when the Super Bowl gets here, these fans of our local football franchise will be here to celebrate the occasion.
