The Feed: Missing Dog Found 8 Years Later
- 72 YEAR OLD MAKES YOU FEEL LAZY
- It’s easy to be overwhelmed by the busy-ness of life. So much to do, so little time, you get home and plop on the couch. Then you hear a story like this that makes you feel like a lazy lump. 72-year-old Lynnea Salvo just got the Guinness World Record for cycling over 2,000 miles from the Peace Arch at one end of Interstate 5 on the US/Canada border in Washington, to the other end of the 5 at the US/Mexico border. She pulled off the feat in 43 days, during which time you watched Netflix. So, congrats, you both accomplished something.

- SCRATCH AND SNIFF…BACON?
- Oscar Mayer is getting into the magazine business. Sorta. They have released new ads appearing in US Weekly, inTouch, OK! and more that feature a scratch and sniff picture of bacon. Scratch it and, boom, there it is, bacon. Which sounds like a good idea until the smell mixes in with the perfume ad a few pages back. As much as we love bacon, we don’t know if we asked for this.

- REUNITED… 8 YEARS LATER
- Anyone that loses an animal knows how heartbreaking it can be. One family in Florida were convinced their adorable Rottweiler Harley was a goner after not seeing him for eight years. They had moved from Florida to Missouri and never got another dog after Harley bolted from their backyard. Fast forward to this past weekend where a pretty hungry missing dog was found at a Park around Fort Myers. He had a microchip, it linked them to the family. His owner drove 1,100 miles back to Florida to be reunited in a very sweet moment in the shelter lobby… and now the family is reunited once again.
