Things are always bound to change when it comes to the rosters of our favorite teams, and yesterday was no different for the Vegas Golden Knights. Forward Max Pacioretty and Defenseman Dylan Coghlan were shipped off for “future considerations” (see: nothing, they were just getting their salaries off the books). In some better news, Reilly Smith was signed to a new 3-year contract worth $5,000,000/year.
The team has taken some heat for being fast and loose with salary and trading picks, something that NHL media has noticed.
NEW SHAKE SHACK OPENING IN NORTH LAS VEGAS… WITH A DRIVE THRU!
Shake Shack has some delicious burgers and fries… but the one thing that’s lacking is a drive-thru. Well, lazy people in a rush, your day has come. North Town is about to get a brand new Shake Shack at the corner of Craig and Camino al Norte and the new location will in fact have a drive thru. It’ll be the first in the valley to have one. There’s no opening date yet, but our stomachs are already growling.
CHEAPER, AD-SUPPORTED TIER OF NETFLIX COMING
The price of Netflix seems to keep rising and rising… and for some people, especially now with inflation, it’s just too much. Fear not. Netflix has teamed up with Microsoft to offer a cheaper, ad-supported version of the streaming service. The cheaper plan comes at an important time for the streaming giant, who has seen their stock price drop significantly in the last few months. Don’t worry though, if you like your ad-free experience, that’ll still be available.
NEW VEGAS STRIP CLUB INSPIRED BY SOUTH PARK
If you know the adult entertainment world of Las Vegas, you’ve heard of Spearmint Rhino. If you like laughing at sophomoric humor, you’ve watched South Park and seen their version in the show called the Peppermint Rhino. Now it has come full circle as a new strip club named Peppermint Rhino has opened in the former home of the OG that features, among the entertainment, an 888 pound, metal framed, mirror covered rhino. Cheesy Poofs are not available, unfortunately.
