Aimee’s Toddler Has First World Problems
Some people have no issues with their Alexa or Siri or Google. You can ask her anything and she gets right back to you with my pleasure like chick fil a. Me? I ALWAYS have issues with her. Is she her? I don’t even know at this point. I try to be really nice to her when I ask for things I always say please and thank you she just doesn’t understand me ever and my frustration has been handed down to my toddler Roman.
We have all had those moments when you tell your ‘assistant’ (I use that lightly) to remind you to do something or put something on your calendar and it doesn’t quite get it correct.
My now teenager, Jayden, had to do a project on the state of Iowa. When presenting the project you had to bring in food that represents the assigned state. Iowa is known as the corn state so that’s what we decided he would bring in for the class. I told Siri to remind me the day before presentation day to “buy a bunch of corn.” A few weeks or days go by and I wake up to a reminder from Siri to “buy a bunch of porn” I can’t make this up.
Another miscommunication Siri and I had is when my family was going on a trip. It was Roman’s first trip on an airplane I told Siri to remind me to “call American airlines and ask about a lap child” I woke up the next day and I have a reminder that said “call American airlines and ask about a black child”
She is the best but also the worst!
