It is becoming painfully obvious that some people have too much money. Take this for instance. High-fashion line Balenciaga just dropped this on society: a bougie trash bag. The drawstring bag made of calfskin leather could easily be mistaken for a shiny plastic trash bag. The price won’t confuse you at all. They are selling it for $1,790 and it is expected to be available in black, white, yellow and blue come the fall. That same amount of money would get you over 9,600 Glad trash bags on Amazon, so spend wisely.
11 YEAR OLD LEARNS ABOUT THE WORST, BEST OF SOCIETY
One of those “if this ever happened to my kid, so help me” stories. 11 year old Jeremy set up a lemonade stand, and a shady figure came by. He was supposedly parched and wanted lemonade, but only had a $100 bill. The kid dipped into his allowance to give him change, and all he had was $85. You guessed it, the bill was a fake. The Everett, Washington Police Department posted the story on their Facebook and it’s gone viral.
Insert, you guessed it, GoFundMe. Jeremy has made the money back and then some. He’s up to nearly $14,000 as of writing this. Plenty of money to buy some counterfeit markers.
AMAZING PRANK HAS SPACE RESEARCHER APOLOGIZING
The images coming from the James Webb Space Telescope are absolutely astounding and people are hungry for the next photo to come. One guy took that a little too literally. Etienne Klein is a research director with France’s Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission and you’d figure he’d be a pretty trusted source. He posted a photo to Twitter last week stating that a new photo had been taken, capturing the closest star to the sun. “This level of detail. A new world is revealed day after day”. Well. It wasn’t that. It was literally a slice of chorizo sausage. But it looked amazing! He’s apologizing, but honestly, it was totally worth it.
