Woman Stopped At Border Smuggling Cheese
The agents with the United States Customs and Border Protection have their hands full catching drug smugglers and human traffickers. When you stop at a proper border crossing, you are asked to declare any goods you may have with you.
A woman driving from Mexico into Texas last week decided to try her luck at being dishonest and it cost her. When she approached the Paso Del Norte border crossing in El Paso, the United States citizen declared she had 10 wheels of cheese with her.
Wheels. Of. CHEESE. Hey, we love it as much as the next person, but we have never enjoyed it in wheel form. We digress.
The Customs and Border Protection officer went around the back and found the 10 wheels of cheese. But decided to do further investigation and found that there was another 50 wheels of cheese under blankets in the back.
You heard that right. Undeclared cheese.
You play with the law, you lose. The woman was hit with a $1000 fine and all of her “contraband cheese” (great name for a rock band) was destroyed. That is a cheesy way to get fined for sure. But you might be asking why she wouldn’t declare all 60 wheels?
The CBP and Department of Agriculture have a limit on how much dairy product you can bring across the border. If it’s enough for one person to eat, sure. But if you’re bringing it in bulk, that’s a big no no.
So the next time you think about smuggling cheese in wheel form, know that the long arm of the law isn’t far behind. They’re ready and waiting to cut your cheese and break your heart.

Sammi's Oscar Mayer Wienermobile Dreams Came True (PICTURES)
Okay. We get it. I’m completely obsessed with hot dogs. But this was an iconic week for hot dog lovers in Las Vegas!
The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile trekked it’s way into town this week, and the moment I saw on the tracker that Jumbo Dog Jacob and Bologna Beth would be visiting Sin City with the iconic mobile wiener, I knew I would be paying them a visit. I truly had no choice. My heart belongs to the Wienermobile.
102.7 VGS was very excited about this event, and I had a blast talking about it this week! Hopefully you saw Shawn‘s post and were able to pay a visit to the Oscar Mayer Hot Doggers as well. They made stops at three local Smith’s Food & Drug locations scattered throughout the Vegas valley, and the experience did not disappoint!
I documented my adventure and the moment my Oscar Mayer Wienermobile dreams came true. Check it out below!
I knew my dreams were about to come true...
I was literally running to it like a long lost friend.
Is this real life?
I reckon you can't have a dirty wiener out and about.
I had no idea that there are actually six of these roaming the United States.

I love the hot dog on the dash!
It's like we're in the Venetian.
The big wiener's been bringing smiles to people's faces since 1936!
I had no idea these existed...
Can you tell I was excited?
Jumbo Dog Jacob and Bologna Beth saw me struggling, so they swooped in to help me get the perfect pic...
The pure joy on my face says it all.
And then I spotted the hot dogs with face holes nearby...
Best. Day. EVER.
PEAK excitement.
It was only right!
I had to share the excitement!

Las Vegas: 7 Tasty Treats To Enjoy This Fall
Fall is, hands down, my favorite season of all. The overall color palette, the comfy, cozy sweaters, and the drop in temperature is enough to send me floating on a pumpkin-shaped cloud nine.
Perhaps my favorite component of fall is the treats. It’s no secret at this point. I’m a major foodie. I live for trying new things and exploring the many dining options our fabulous city of Las Vegas has to offer. Drinks and goodies that give major fall vibes honestly give me life. They get me genuinely excited, as I know they evoke the same emotions for many others. That’s why I decided to ask on my Instagram and 102.7 VGS’ Instagram what our followers favorite fall treats were and what I needed to hunt down and try as we head into the season. And they did not disappoint!
Some of these items are brand spankin’ new, some are fall classics, and some are only available in Las Vegas. You can’t go through the fall without a Pumpkin Pie Blizzard from Dairy Queen. That’s a given. But the brand new Blood Orange Dunkin’ Refresher from Dunkin’ needs the hype and the spotlight it deserves. And Starbucks… We already know they’ve been killing the fall game for decades with their Pumpkin Spice Latte. It’s almost like an unspoken rule. You basically have to get one, but it’s important to know before you go that the price went up.
Nonetheless, these items are sure to shift you into the fall spirit in no time. And I’m ready to transport at first taste. I’d really like to say “sayonara” to these ridiculously high temperatures at this point. I love the desert and all of the weather it brings throughout the year, but enough is enough. Bring on the sweaters and the Sanderson Sisters!
Check out these 7 tasty treats to enjoy this fall in Las Vegas. How many have you already tried?
