Springs Preserve Butterfly Habitat Exhibit Returns To Las Vegas This Fall (VIDEO)
One of Las Vegas‘ favorite seasonal treats is returning in 2022. And no, I’m not talking about anything pumpkin flavored.
The Springs Preserve Butterfly Habitat Exhibit will return to the Las Vegas valley this Fall! The exhibit will open to the public for their 2022 season on Saturday, October 1st and will close on November 21st.
Whether you’re looking for a super fun outing with the fam, or you’re a butterfly lover wanting an up-close experience, the Springs Preserve Butterfly Habitat Exhibit is a truly magical and enjoyable experience for all! It’s also a great educational opportunity, as visitors will immerse themselves into the habitat necessary for the sustainability of life among these butterflies. Learning and fun, all at the same time? Boo-yah!
Check out a preview of the exhibit!
The Butterfly Habitat will be open during this stretch of time Thursday through Monday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and the last admission will be 15 minutes prior to close. Those interested in visiting should be aware that the schedule is subject to change based on weather conditions and special event availability.
If you’d like to prepare for your trip to the exhibit, the Springs Preserve website has several wonderful resources, including educational videos on the various species of butterflies in the exhibit and butterfly-friendly nectar plants, as well as printable kids activity sheets (completing one could come in handy if you take your completed sheet to the Nature Exchange while visiting).
All visitors are able to experience the habitat at no additional cost this year due to the generosity of the Springs Preserve Foundation, “a non-profit, non-stock corporation established to sustain and advance the mission of the Springs Preserve.”
