It’s True! McDonald’s Halloween Pails Are Back!
Be still, our nostalgia loving hearts! McDonald’s are bringing back one of the greatest things we remember from our childhood: McDonald’s Halloween Pails. The spooky threesome is back and we are already in line to get one.
The whole gang is back together for this very plastic reunion. McBoo (the ghost), McPunk’n (the pumpkin) and McGoblin (goes without saying) are back in white, orange and green respectively. They come with the carrying handle. They… (stops self from crying) …are beautiful!
All three pails will be served up with Happy Meals through Halloween or while supplies last. Considering the insanity of the “Adult Happy Meal”, supplies won’t last long. You’ve been warned.
As the old saying goes: “you don’t know what you got, ’til it’s gone.” Ain’t that the truth! Any kid born in the 1980’s knows how prevalent these buckets were growing up. Sure, you’d use them for Trick or Treating, but chances are they’d be around your house. Maybe you put your Hot Wheels cars in them like I did. Maybe they were just always there, but you can’t place where. Whatever the case, they are sure to remind you of a simpler time.
We are adults now, and I get to introduce this awesome Halloween treat to my kids. Now if Nickelodeon would only air game shows, the internet would barely exist and Congress could actually unite to pass anything, we might be able to get to the good old days. In the meantime, we’ll take the pails!
