United Airlines: Now Offering Complimentary In-Flight Snakes!
United Airlines is now offering a new in-flight amenity, and it’s sure to get your heart racing! That’s right, folks – now, when you fly United, you may just get the opportunity to spot a snake mid-flight.
The news comes courtesy of Newsweek magazine, which reported that a snake was recently spotted on a United flight from Tampa to Newark. The plane had just landed and was taxiing towards the gate when shrieks were heard from the business class section.
Passengers immediately pulled up their feet and started screaming when they realized there was a snake on board. Police were called and the snake was removed from the plane. It is not clear how the snake got on board, but United has said that it is investigating the matter.
After the snake was removed, passengers were allowed to deplane with their baggage. The plane was then searched for any other reptiles that may have been crawling aboard, but none were found.
Maybe the snake was trying to audition for a sequel to Samual L Jackson‘s movie from 2006, “Snakes On A Plane“. The movie was about An FBI agent taking on an airplane full of deadly venomous snakes, deliberately released to kill a witness being flown from Honolulu to Los Angeles to testify against a mob boss.
For the record, you can’t take snakes in the cabin with you, but you can check snakes in as luggage. You’ll have to meet the regulations of the airline you’re flying with, and make sure it’s legal to bring your snake with you to your destination. A safer option is to probably send the snake by mail.
Next time you’re looking for a little excitement on your flight, be sure to book with United! Who knows, you might just get the chance to spot a snake in mid-air.
What would you do if there was a snake on an airplane you were on?
