Las Vegas Named #1 City With ‘Most Christmas Cheer’
It’s no secret Las Vegas knows how to do the holidays in a big way. I mean, doesn’t Vegas pretty much live by the motto “go big or go home” anyway?
In a recent study by Lombardo Homes, it was discovered that Las Vegans searched the internet for Christmas decorations on average per capita. Far more than those residing in other cities. So much, in fact, that the massive search inquiries have led to Las Vegas earning the title as the #1 city in the United States with the most Christmas cheer.
That’s right – we’re talking about the same Sin City that’s known for its casinos, nightlife, and debauchery. But now, Las Vegas is making its mark as one of the top Christmas capitals with the most Christmas spirit. But the locals have known this all along and have relished in the sweet, decorative spirit of the holiday season for many decades. If you’ve never climbed into your car and driven around to see the incredibly decorated houses around town… change that this year. Do it. You won’t be disappointed. We go HARD.
The fact that we have claimed the top spot is even more impressive when you consider the nationwide competition we had – New York, Chicago, Los Angeles. These three cities were actually the named the three cities with the lowest Christmas cheer. So sad! It sounds like us Las Vegas locals could teach them a thing or two about how to decorate to get into the holiday spirit.
Shoutout to Las Vegas for keeping the holiday spirit alive and thriving through the fun of décor! Happy Holidays!
