Santa Set To Scuba Dive At Vegas’ Silverton Casino
Silverton Casino Hotel is set to offer, quite possibly, the most unique opportunity to visit Santa Claus ever – “Underwater Santa.”
Fox 5 reports that the Las Vegas property will host the event on Christmas Eve during various different time slots, and those who attend can visit with Santa Claus, who will be submerged in the property’s aquarium, as well as his helpers. Although Santa will be underwater, those who choose to come watch him scuba dive in the aquarium will still be able to share their Christmas lists with him and his helpers.
According to Silverton, guests will be able to share their Christmas wish lists with Santa and his helpers at the following times:
- 12:00-12:30 p.m.
- 12:45-1:15 p.m.
- 2:00- 2:30 p.m.
- 2:45- 3:15 p.m.
As if the aquatic holiday attraction couldn’t get more appealing, Silverton Casino Hotel’s mermaids will also be hosting a couple of holiday story time sessions. Those interested in attending can pick from the following times:
- 12:30-12:45 p.m.
- 2:30-2:45 p.m.
Because this holiday programming interferes with the typical Mermaid Swim schedule, Silverton notes that the “Underwater Santa” festive fun will replace normal mermaid swim time.
If there’s one place I wouldn’t expect to see Santa Claus… it’s fully submerged in an aquarium with scuba diving gear on. If you’re looking for a fresh, unique Christmas Eve tradition, pick out a time slot and head over to Silverton Casino Hotel on December 24th. This event offers an attraction many of us have likely never seen before, and if one thing is certain… “Underwater Santa” is sure to be an unforgettable experience for all who attend!

Ugly Sweaters Invade DTLV 60 Floors Up At Legacy Club
Friday night, I put on my ugliest sweater and headed to Legacy Club at Circa for their Ugly Sweater Holiday Party. I had never been to Legacy Club before December 16th, and I was curious to see what it looked like, what the vibes were, etc. And a party… with everyone wearing ugly sweaters? Yeah, sign me up.
I parked at the Garage Mahal and made my way inside, and the entrance to Legacy Club was just a hop, skip, and short escalator ride away from the garage entrance. I made my way to the front and signed in, and the attendant told me to “head towards the elevators.” Elevators? To get to the club…? Sure enough, I turned the corner and there were private elevators for those headed to Legacy Club.
When I walked through the doors, I low key thought it was a joke… there was a button for the first floor (where I currently was), and there was a button for floor 60. Yes. Sixty. It was one of the top five fanciest features I’ve ever experienced. And it was at this point… I knew Legacy Club was about to be an elaborate sight to see. And sure enough, it did not disappoint.
I exited the elevators to an elaborate space filled with glamorous, low seating with tables, an open floor for dancing and socializing, and a DJ blasting all the bops. Oh yeah – and about 200 ugly sweaters grazing the floor. There were Christmas onesies, lit-up sweaters, and endless Santa swag zooming by me left and right. And I was loving every second of the festive, fun vibes.
The bartenders were pouring away as guests made their way up to the exquisite bar and put in their orders one by one. Holiday cocktails had everyone feeling merry and bright, and I have to say, my favorite was the punch that Legacy Club had out… “Triple Dog Dare Punch.” C’mon. We love a good play on a classic Christmas line.
But truly, one of the greatest features of Legacy Club and one of my favorite moments of the night was taking in the magnificent views of the city. Far and wide, the views of Las Vegas that this elevated club offer are pretty much unmatched. Seriously. So worth checking out.
Needless to say, your girl, Sammi had a MERRY good time at the Ugly Sweater Holiday Party. I can’t wait to go back to Legacy Club at Circa for another unforgettable adventure!
