Universal Announces Permanent Horror Experience Coming To Las Vegas

Universal has announced that a new, permanent horror experience is headed to Las Vegas.

Straight from the creators of the seasonal, wildly popular Halloween Horror Nights attraction, the new horror experience in Las Vegas will be open year-around for all horror enthusiasts to enjoy any time of year.

What Can We Expect?

According to Fox 5, a news release announced the “concept will bring to life Universal’s vast library of classic horror films and today’s most terrifying tales,” with the attraction featuring a variety of “unique, immersive, fantastic horror-centric experiences.” Of course, there will also be food and beverage spaces for daytime meals, but once the sun goes down, these spaces will transform into “haunting bars and eateries by night.”

Horror fans can also expect an ever-changing attraction, with Universal stating that the space will “feature a continuously updated experience, must see seasonal events and one-of-a-kind merchandise.” With the attraction making continuous updates, guests will be able to enjoy new and exciting additions to the permanent horror experience year-round.

Where Will It Be?

Universal says the new attraction will be “the anchor tenant in a new 20-acre expansion of Las Vegas’ AREA15,” Fox 5 reports. A 110,000 square-foot space will house Universal’s first permanent horror experience ever created outside of its theme parks.

When Will It Open?

The company is currently in the planning process, and as they begin to piece together all of the moving parts involved, further details on the attraction will be released, including the announcement of an official opening date.

Nonetheless, the new, permanent horror experience in Las Vegas is sure to provide all of its visitors a spooky good time.
