My prayers were finally answered. There is only one thing I am very particular about in life. You would think it would be wine or coffee, but no. It's my energy drinks. For years my go-to energy drink was a Sugar-Free Rockstar (the white can). I survived off of them after we had our second baby and I had to get up so early for work. Until one day I bought a rockstar and the can looked different but I didn't think anything of it. I opened it, and to my surprise, it tasted like trash!
I bought another one in hopes that it was just a bad can but it wasn't. They were all bad. After some investigating, I learned that they had changed the formula. So I wrote and called Pepsi and told them how tired I was and how sad I was that they would change a good thing.
Haven't they heard the saying "don't fix it if it's not broken"?
This was the email I got from the Pepsi/Rockstar Energy support team.

There was no mention of bringing the OG flavor back and I thought I had to wash my hands of my favorite energy drink but, over 2 long, tired years later, THEY DID! I bought my first 4 cans this week.
Below is my taste test of this beauty.

Diner’s Drive-Ins And Dives: Las Vegas Mediterranean Restaurant Makes The Show
The famous Food Network show, Diner's, Drive-Ins And Dives, hosted by LV local, Guy Feiri, will feature another Las Vegas Mediterranean restaurant.
As local Vegas foodies can attest, the city has some excellent choices when it comes to dining out. From fancy five star eateries in big casinos to small mom and pop shops that serve warm comfort foods- Vegas really does has the best of both.
The restaurant you need to add to your 2023 foodie bucket list is Chickpeas Mediterranean Café. The Valley has two locations:
The restaurant opened it's doors back in September of 2015 and has been serving Vegas proud with hot meals for your family dinners. The options are endless as customers can order any of their Mediterranean restaurant favorites from Beef Barg, Ground Lamb Wrap, Pakoora and even Dolme. The prices are not overwhelmingly expensive either. The menu also features many vegetarian options including: Maza Vegetarian Plate, Vegetarian Dolme and Falafel salad and rice bowl.
The desserts look very tasty. One standout dessert on their menu is the Baghlava. Baghlava, for those who may not know, is a traditional sweet dessert that is layered with flakey phyllo dough, honey and nuts. The iconic dessert is also usually topped with honey. Another customer favorite has to be their cannolis that are stuffed to perfection.
The Diner's, Drive-Ins and Dives episode was filmed at the W Flamingo location, according to KLAS-TV Channel 8. The episode will air Friday, January 13, 2023.
The two dishes you must order and also featured on the show are:
If you have never tried their food before you are missing out. If you're someone who doesn't want to dine in, take out options are available as well.
The café is open seven says a week from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. You can find out more details on their website HERE.
