Potted Plant Dessert In Vegas Makes Perfect Instagram-able Moment

There are a lot of places to eat in Las Vegas and with everyone competing for your attention... This restaurant has stepped outside of the box or shall we say garden?

Tao Asian Bistro, located inside the Venetian Las Vegas, has a Potted Carrot Cake on their menu and you can order it to eat. Now whether you're a carrot cake fan or not is another discussion but this dessert is worth checking out. This does not surprise us though as Tao is known for creating extra glamourous desserts. Their recent Holiday Fortune Cookie was decadent and very beautiful.

The cool part is that this impressive plant dessert is that it's only available at the Las Vegas location. Served on a white plate, sits a red pot with cake-like soil, bright orange candied micro carrots and green leaves making this the realest looking "plant" dessert that we have ever seen. The inside is layered when you cut into it with cream, soft carrot cake and miso caramel. The dessert looks to be sharing size for a group of four.

There isn't a price on the menu but for Instagram... It might just be worth the cost.

Tao is only open during dinner times and on certain days of the week. Here are their hours of operation:

If you haven't dined with them before here are a few things to know. Make a reservation at least 60 days in advanced as the restaurant is very popular and books up quickly. If you do have five or more people in your party they will ask that a credit card is filed with them to hold your reservation. Calling them also helps to see if they have any open availability and to make sure your reservation is confirmed.

Best of luck and we hope you enjoy their new potted plant dessert! Check it out below:

Celebrate National Pizza Week: Best Pizza In Las Vegas

National Pizza Week has arrived, and we could not be more excited. Who doesn’t love pizza? With an estimated 3 billion pies sold each year in the US alone, it’s no wonder that pizza is America’s favorite food. In fact, the most popular topping is pepperoni according to 64% of Americans. So this week, why not grab a slice or a pie and celebrate the deliciousness that is pizza?!

    The Origins of Pizza:

Pizza has been around for centuries as far back as Ancient Greece. The first pizzeria in the United States was opened in 1895 by Gennaro Lombardi in New York City. Since then, there have been many different variations on the classic pizza such as Sicilian-style (thicker crust), deep dish (thick crust but shaped like a pie), and even vegan pizzas! No matter what type you go for, there’s something special about sinking your teeth into a hot, cheesy slice of pizza.

    Topping It Off!
Pepperoni may be the most popular topping among Americans, but there are countless other toppings to choose from including sausage, mushrooms, olives, onions, peppers and even pineapple! The possibilities are endless when it comes to creating your own perfect combination. Whether you like your pizzas covered with veggies or loaded up with meats—the choice is yours! And if you really want to get creative, why not try making your own “designer” pizza at home? Just don’t forget to add plenty of cheese!

    What's On Your Pizza?
No matter what you decide to top your pizza with this week while celebrating National Pizza Week—just remember to enjoy it! Whether you opt for a classic pepperoni or create something entirely new—a slice of pizza can bring people together like nothing else can. So grab yourself a slice or two and celebrate National Pizza Week with friends and family!

    Eat the PIE
This week is all about celebrating one of America's favorite foods - PIZZA! With so many options out there these days — from traditional Italian style pizzas to vegan pies — it can be hard to decide which one is best for you. But no matter what type of topping you choose this week while celebrating National Pizza Week - just remember to enjoy it!
