Get Hitched At Harry Reid This Valentine’s Day!

For a fifth year, Harry Reid International Airport will offer travelers the opportunity to get hitched as they pass through the Las Vegas airport this Valentine’s Day.

From February 2nd through Valentine’s Day, Clark County Clerk, Lynn Marie Goya will open a temporary marriage license office for couples looking to tie the knot during their visit to Sin City. According to News 3, the temporary office will be open seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Harry Reid International Airport’s Terminal 1 baggage claim area near Carousel 5.

As for the services provided at the temporary marriage license office, couples can be issued marriage licenses and vow renewal certificates. If you or a couple you know is planning on taking advantage of the Harry Reid pop-up’s services, a couple can streamline the process by filling out a marriage license pre-application prior to arrival. The tradition of the Harry Reid temporary marriage license office has lasted half a decade due to its popularity and assistance during the Valentine’s season. In the days leading up to Valentine’s Day, as well as Valentine’s Day itself, more than 1,500 marriage licenses are issued in Las Vegas. With a demand reaching twice the number of licenses issued during a non-holiday period, the temporary airport office has proven to be a big help for the county.

“Las Vegas is the Wedding Capital of the World, and this February will be especially busy as couples enjoy Valentine’s Day weddings,” Goya said. “Couples love the convenience of the Pop-Up Marriage License Bureau as it gives them even more time to enjoy the variety of experiences we offer in Las Vegas.”

News 3 reports that marriage licenses will remain available at the Marriage License Bureau main office, located at 201 E. Clark St. in downtown Las Vegas. The main office is open from 8:00 a.m. to midnight every day, including holidays.

That yields some amazing moisture and flavor.
