Lizzo To Drop ‘Special’ Remix Featuring SZA

It's about damn time! Lizzo is finally dropping the remix to "Special" which features SZA. "'Special' featuring SZA drops today," Lizzo said in a video posted to her Instagram on Wednesday (Feb. 8).

Lizzo previously teased the collaboration on Twitter back in November. "Something Special coming your way soon… 👀 @sza," the four-time Grammy winner shared along with a video of her and SZA, with a snippet of the "Special" remix playing in the background.

SZA previously told Rolling Stone how much she adores working with Lizzo.

"We just have so much fun together. And I feel like she gets me. She’s another person who has hella music tastes and doesn’t fit in anybody’s box of anything," she said.

The “Kill Bill” singer continued, "She makes it seem like she doesn’t even care, like she just does whatever she wants. And I just love being with her, just as a friend and hanging out. So whenever she comes to a studio, I just feel like, ‘Let’s drop into some bullsh–.'"

In an exclusive clip, Lizzo spoke about "Special." "I remember I was having a really hard day and I was on social media seeing some things I didn't like," she began. "I wanted to write a song to remember how special I am and how loved I am for when I'm feeling down. I hope that if it helps me that it will help the millions of people out there that feel the exact same way."

The "Special" remix is set to be release Thursday (Feb. 9).
