{VIDEO}Marc-Andre Fleury Tries To Fight Jordan Binnington In Wild vs. Blues
Wednesday’s game between the Minnesota Wild and St. Louis Blues was certainly eventful. The score was tied 4-4 late in the second period when Ryan Hartman scored to put Minnesota ahead 5-4. But the real action came after the goal, when Blues goalie Jordan Binnington charged after Hartman and threw a punch, earning himself an ejection and a two-game suspension along with a near-scuffle with Wild goalie Marc-Andre Fleury. On Thursday, the Wild released some amazing footage of that moment, which has everyone talking.
The incident between Binnington and Hartman happened right in front of the net after Hartman scored his goal. As soon as Hartman hit the ice following his celebration, Binnington came charging at him and threw a punch before he was restrained by several players from both teams. The officials quickly ejected Binnington from the game and he was later issued a two-game suspension for his actions.
What makes this incident even more interesting is that it very nearly turned into something much bigger when Wild goalie Marc-Andre Fleury stepped in to defend his teammate. As soon as he saw what was happening, Fleury skated over to intervene but the lien judge didn’t let it happen. What makes this great is that Fleury was Mic’d up! If there is anything you know and love about Fleury is his sense of humor and it wasn’t lacking when he was trying to get in on the action! (Watch below)

Las Vegas misses Mark Andre Fleury for many reasons but this just highlights why he is so beloved here in Las Vegas… his passion for protecting his team no matter what and the comedy that goes along with it! He may have moved on from Vegas but we’ll always treasure our memories of him!
