Tom Brady Signs With Las Vegas, Ready To Win Another Championship

It’s tough to keep a man like Tom Brady from seeking his next championship, so he has signed a contract with Las Vegas Raiders owner Mark Davis. But… not for the Raiders. Tom Brady is now part-owner of the WNBA World Champions, the Las Vegas Aces!

If you’ve ever seen Tom talk about his childhood and looking up to his sisters – all athletes – you know his passion for women’s sports is a real one.

Back in May 2022, Tom attended a Las Vegas Aces game at Michelob ULTRA Arena at Mandalay Bay. At that point, the rumor was Tom was talking the Las Vegas Raiders and owner Mark Davis about a potential run at Allegiant Stadium. Turns out, that meeting sparked an interest in owning a percentage of the WNBA franchise.

You might remember when Aces star Kelsey Plum admitted Tom was her favorite athlete and she… for whatever reason… BARKED at him.

Well, soon after that interaction, Tom sent Kelsey a signed jersey and other gear in appreciation of her fandom. She was beside herself after she opened the package up…

Well… now she gets to call Tom boss. And she’s once again shook.

Tom Brady isn’t the only one who wants ownership in a Las Vegas team…

Tom is joining a long list of former star athletes turned team owners. Marshawn Lynch became an investor of the Seattle Kraken NHL franchise in 2022. Michael Jordan has ownership in the Charlotte Hornets. Pittsburgh Penguins star Mario Lemieux now has part ownership in his former club. Magic Johnson has partial ownership in the Dodgers. And it’s no big secret that Lebron James wants in on owning a Las Vegas NBA franchise.

Welcome to town Tom. We can only imagine how awkward it is going to be when you walk down the hall and see Jimmy Garoppolo who once again has to live looking over his shoulder at you.

Aces' Kelsey Plum DUNKS On Las Vegas Raiders Coach Josh McDaniels

It was only a week ago that we were talking about Las Vegas sports royalty being formed. Las Vegas Aces star Kelsey Plum got hitched to Las Vegas Raiders star Darren Waller. Well… it didn’t last long.

No, Kelsey and Darren didn’t get divorced already. By all accounts, they seem to be happy as can be. But chances are she’s not too happy that her hubby was just traded to the New York Giants.

The news dropped on Tuesday. The team announced they traded Waller to New York for a 3rd round pick. The Las Vegas Raiders just picked up New England Patriots wide receiver Jakobi Meyers, which many touted as a move that bolstered an all-star receiving crew that might be an AFC buzzsaw. But almost immediately, the Raiders made the Waller trade… making posts like this one irrelevant:

All told, Waller leaves the Raiders franchise a legend. 4th most career yards per game, 6th most career receptions, most receptions in a season and 11th most receiving yards in Raiders history! No slouch.

Why did Waller get traded by the Las Vegas Raiders? Kelsey Plum has an idea…

Why would the Raiders coach Josh McDaniels want to get rid of Waller? After all, he set all those records. Is it because he’s 30 years old and potentially about to start slumping? Is he a problem child off the field? Kelsey Plum a.k.a. Mrs. Darren Waller, has an idea:

Oh mah lawd! It was already awkward enough that Darren Waller and teammate Maxx Crosby got married on the same day, but this just pours gasoline on the fire that is the McDaniels era of the Las Vegas Raiders. Do players not like him? Is there drama in the locker room?

The rumor on Twitter is that Darren & Kelsey were hoping to keep their wedding a secret, but Josh McDaniels leaked it. The tea is just too piping hot…

Even more awkward, she is talking about the head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders, owned by Mark Davis, who also owns the Las Vegas Aces. Oooh…
