It's not everyday or everywhere you have the opportunity to see thousands of butterflies take flight before your very eyes. But Las Vegas is fortunate enough to have the Springs Preserve and it's incredible Butterfly Habitat, which will be reopening for spring in just a few short days!
This special, limited-time experience at Las Vegas' Springs Preserve serves as an incredible, unique educational opportunity for both children and adults! Year after year, families watch in awe as butterflies sporting numerous different colors flutter their wings throughout the habitat, whilst learning about the butterfly's important role in the ecosystem and the plants inside the habitat that sustain these beautiful insects. After all, butterflies are more than just their beauty! The Springs Preserve Butterfly Habitat truly offers an experience you can't get just anywhere.
The Springs Preserve Butterfly Habitat will be opening to the public on April 1st and remain open through May 29th. Guests will be able to visit the habitat Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays from 10:00am to 3:00pm, so long as temperatures allow. According to News 3, a press release received states that the last admission allowing inside is 15 minutes before close, and the schedule could potentially change based on various factors, such as weather conditions and special event availability.
Fortunately, a visit to the Springs Preserve Butterfly Habitat in Las Vegas also wont break the bank!
