Got ‘Bed Bath & Beyond’ Coupons? These Stores Will Accept Them

Rest in peace, Bed Bath and Beyond. Now that the massive retailer has declared bankruptcy, their stores are no longer accepting coupons as of Wednesday, April 26th. However, if you still have some of those marvelous 20% coupons within reach, you can still use them at a couple competing businesses that have declared they will happily accept them.

If you haven’t gotten around to using those coupons, you’re in luck. According to Fox Business, two competing retailers have announced their limited-time acceptance of Bed Bath & Beyond’s coupons, offering shoppers great deals on one of their products or purchases instead.

One of these competitors is none other than… Big Lots. Got one of those little blue and white Bed Bath & Beyond coupons lying around? Take it to your local Big Lots store, and as long as your purchase total is at least $50, you’ll get 20% taken off your total. But beware! This awesome, super generous deal will only be accepted by Big Lots through May 7th. So get on it!

Another Bed Bath & Beyond competitor, The Container Store, has also announced they will be partaking in the fun, accepting their bankrupt competitor’s blue and white coupons. However, their terms are different. The Container Store will knock 20% of the price off of one single item – not your whole purchase – if you physically bring the coupon with you to the store. The 20% off will be applied to your most expensive valid item for the coupon. This special deal runs through the end of May, so you’ve got a little more time to take advantage of these savings!

While we hate to see the downfall of one of our beloved bed and bath retailers, at least its competitors are having some fun with it and allowing those with coupons to still score some great deals. But please note – gift cards will NOT be accepted at Big Lots or The Container Store. Gift cards will still be accepted at Bed Bath & Beyond stores through May 8th, so spend that gifted money while you can before you lose it!
