If you really think about it, the Demogorgon wouldn’t look too out of place among the bootleg Mickey Mouse and less “showy” showgirls on Las Vegas Boulevard. Netflix hit series Stranger Things is bringing a store that is all themed out in everything Hawkins, Indiana.

The franchise will be turning the Showcase Mall (where you find Hard Rock Cafe and Flyover Las Vegas) uʍop ǝpᴉsdn on Friday, May 26th. If you’re a fan of the 80s-era thriller (and who isn’t), then you’re gonna love this store. You’ll find merch you can’t find anywhere else, including toys, accessories and more.

Merch is fine, but it’s how the merch is displayed that will get you through the door. You’ll see super Instagrammable that will whisk you away to memorable locations in the show. Ever wanted to visit Starcourt Mall? You can go. The Palace Arcade look like the greatest arcade ever? You can snap a pic. Walk the halls of Hawkins High and, oh yeah, take a peek at the Demogorgon.

As far as how long it will be on the Strip? It’s open-ended. They aren’t calling it “permanent” or a “pop-up”… they are doing the most Las Vegas thing ever. They are calling it a “long-term residency”. How long that term is depends on how many people stop in, naturally.

Stranger Things has gone on to be the streaming outlet’s most popular franchise, with the series racking up billions of views since its premiere in 2016.

“Stranger Things: The Official Store” will be open weekdays from 10am until 9pm, and Sundays from 10am-8pm. The fact they didn’t have the hours go from Eleven ’til Eleven, we believe, is a missed opportunity.
