Ed Sheeran’s New The ‘+ = x’ Tour Setlist

Ed Sheeran started off his US leg of the Mathematics Tour with a bang in Dallas, Texas. The start of this tour is even more special because he also recently released his new album Divide, which has been a massive hit with fans. The new setlist includes some of his greatest hits and a few new songs that fans can’t get enough of.

Ed Sheeran has always been known for his emotional and heartfelt lyrics, and this tour is no different.

The big news that has everyone talking other than his tour, is his victory in the defamation case against him. This just adds to the already exciting energy surrounding Ed Sheeran’s tour. The start of the tour was also filled with a bit more drama than usual. Ed Sheeran was accused of copyright infringement for his song “Thinking Out Loud,” but the incredible artist was then found not guilty in the defamation case against him, proving that true talent cannot be diminished by bogus accusations. Thankfully, Ed Sheeran is now able to focus solely on the music and the fans in attendance at his amazing shows.

 

 

One of the highlights of any Ed Sheeran concert is his one-man show. Surrounded by several guitars and looping pedals, he creates live loops and then sings and raps over them to create sounds that you wouldn’t expect from just one person. Ed keeps his fans fully engaged with his energy and showmanship, making sure that everyone is feeling the full emotion and power of the music.

Whether you’re in a stadium with 50 thousand people or an intimate venue, Ed Sheeran has the ability to make you feel a personal connection to him.

Aimee Thomas is the morning show co-host of Aimee + Shawn on 102.7 VGS. She has been VGS since the birth of the station in 2022 and has been with Beasley Media Group for nine years doing mornings at various stations in the cluster. Before working in radio Aimee was a bartender at a local restaurant in Las Vegas when a local radio veteran thought she would be perfect in radio because of her crazy stories, knowledge of pop culture, and contagious laugh. Aimee loves writing about new recipes she creates in her kitchen, her favorite artists and actors, and being a mom of two boys.

Ed Sheeran The '+ = x' Tour Set-list

Ed Sheeran is back with an epic tour. His fourth album, entitled ‘=’, has seen him topping the charts across the world and infusing his delicate, acoustic pop with even more pronounced R&B flourishes. And now he’s taking that same sound on the road as part of his ‘+ = x Tour’—also known as the ‘Mathematics’ tour—with a lineup of supporting acts that include Khalid, Rosa Linn, Cat Burns, Dylan, Maisie Peters, and Russ. 

Sheeran’s ‘+ = x Tour’ is sure to be filled with hits from his latest album as well as some of his most popular songs from previous albums like “Thinking Out Loud,” “Shape of You,” and “Photograph.” But it won’t JUST be Sheeran rocking out on stage during these shows; he’ll also be joined by some of today’s hottest young talent for several special performances each night. For example, rapper/singer-songwriter Russ and British singer-songwriter Maisie Peters will be opening up for Sheeran when he plays here in Las Vegas on September 9th, 2023.

If you are anything like me you like to see the set list before you go to the show. Some people like to be surprised but I like to see when I can take my bathroom or bar break. So this is the set list that I’ve found thus far for Ed’s tour. But keep in mind he has a new album dropping before he gets to Vegas so the odds we get to see some of his new music are pretty high.

One thing that I have heard Ed say multiple times is that he will always play his “hits” so if you are looking forward to one certain song of his, you know every word to. He will most likely play it at the show no matter how old it is. “Thinking Out Loud” is mine!
