We’ve all heard the saying “Find a penny, pick it up, and all day long you’ll have good luck.” But for one man, a penny found in a hotel parking lot in Omaha, Nebraska, it couldn't have been more true. He turned that penny into $200,000. Humberto Alejandre found himself the lucky winner of a $200,000 lottery jackpot after picking up that lucky penny. Listen how cool this is!

Humberto Alejandre was on a road trip from Florida to Colorado when his car broke down in Omaha, Nebraska. After stopping at a hotel overnight, he saw a shiny penny lying face up in the parking lot. Humberto didn't think too much of it but decided to pick it up anyway.

You're never too rich to pick up a penny when you see one.

Humberto then went to a nearby convenience store and used that lucky penny to scratch a lottery ticket, to his surprise his luck had changed. Humberto had just won a $200,000 lottery jackpot! According to the Nebraska Lottery, the odds of Humberto winning were 1 in 140,000. The victory led him to plan to use the winnings to fix his car and continue the journey to Colorado.

"Find a penny pick it up all day long you'll have good luck!"

So especially today on 'Lucky Penny Day' if you see one grab it and go gamble somewhere because it could change your day and bring you some great luck. But now the only question we have to ask is which side of the penny is the better luck? Heads? Or Tails because tails never fails.

Are you superstitious or do you have a lucky item you carry with you?

Songs That Are Proven To Save Lives

Did you know that songs can potentially save lives? According to the American Heart Association (AHA), "The Man" from Swift's 2019 album, "Lover," has the perfect tempo to perform CPR to. In fact, songs that have a tempo of 100-120 beats per minute can help a person keep the correct pace while deeply pressing on the chest during CPR.

It's no secret that music has a profound impact on our emotions and overall well-being. However, did you know that it can also be a valuable lifesaving tool? Studies have shown that songs with the proper tempo can help individuals perform CPR more effectively and with better accuracy. When someone collapses, and you're attempting to revive them, it can be challenging to maintain the correct pace while pressing on their chest. This is where songs like Taylor Swift's "The Man" can come in handy.

At 110 beats per minute, "The Man" has the ideal tempo to maintain the correct rhythm while performing CPR. The AHA recommends that individuals start by calling 911 and checking to see if the person is responsive and breathing. If not, immediately start pushing "hard and fast" in the center of their chest to keep blood and oxygen flowing to their vital organs until help arrives.

The Bee Gees' "Stayin' Alive" is another popular one, with a tempo of about 104 beats per minute. Finding a song with the right rhythm can make all the difference in emergency situations. This brings me to one of my all-time favorite episodes of The Office.

In addition to being a valuable tool for CPR, music can also help us emotionally. Listening to music can lower stress levels and even help with pain management. When someone is undergoing medical treatment, playing music that they enjoy can help them mentally cope with the situation and reduce anxiety levels. Check out some of the songs with that same beat below.
