Select Las Vegas UFC Gyms Offering Youth Summer Programs
UFC has grown into one of the largest, most popular mixed martial arts companies in the world, and the incredible organization along with the incredible athletes that participate in the sport, inspire youth to learn combat sports. Now this summer, Las Vegas youth will have the chance to learn at select UFC gyms thanks to their upcoming youth summer programs.
For those that are hoping to enroll their kids in this awesome summer program, there is a UFC gym offering the summer camp program near you! The following UFC gyms will be offering the summer camp program:
Centennial – 5651 Centennial Center Boulevard: (725) 228-7165
Silverado – 9875 S Maryland Parkway: (725) 228-7160
According to News 3, the gym states that “the camp is open to children ages 6 to 12 years old and up and will take place Monday through Friday, priced at $99 for one week and $299 for four weeks. The summer camps will be centered around youth self-defense, with various UFC athletes teaching skills and techniques weekly.”
The discipline and many skills children will learn through the UFC Gym youth summer programs are valuable tools they will carry with them for the rest of their lives. Not only will self defense always be important for them to have in their back pocket, but the self confidence, the physical fitness, and the friends they will undoubtedly make throughout the youth summer program could ultimately change their lives in unpredictable ways. Not to mention, most importantly, our local Las Vegas kids will be having fun!
