Top 7 Spots For Sushi In Las Vegas That Are All You Can Eat
Sushi in Las Vegas is a hidden gem.
When an individual thinks about sushi, people don’t usually think about the desert containing amazing sushi spots. But, we’re here to dispel that belief.
There are a plethora of amazing sushi spots in Las Vegas that create amazing rolls and serve fresh-from-the-ocean sashimi. For this article, we will focus on the best “all you can eat” sushi spots in the valley.
“All you can eat sushi” is different than normal spots that don’t offer this option. All you can eat (also abbreviated to AYCE) means that you pay one set price to eat as much as you want. Of course, there are restrictions. Usually, there are time limits set in place. This way, customers aren’t spending all day eating sushi. There are also premium menu items that have limits on how much you can order.
Items such as toro tuna, which is a premium fatty tuna, sea urchins and Ama ebi shrimp usually have a limit of one order per person.
Chinatown has some of the best sushi spots in Las Vegas with a robust community of chefs and culinary masters, there are tons of kooky little spots that serve high-quality sushi at a decent price.
There are a few different types of sushi, too. Many people are use to the roll version of sushi. Items like California rolls, spicy tuna rolls, shrimp tempura rolls are some of the most commonly ordered items. But, there is more to sushi than just your basic roll!
Sashimi is raw fish. But, this shouldn’t scare you. Raw fish like tuna, yellow tail and scallops are delectable on top of rice. When you eat raw fish on top of rice then this form of sushi is called nigiri. Sashimi refers to the sole piece of raw fish.
There are also handrolls, which is called temaki. Think of this like a sushi taco! A cone-shaped piece of seaweed wraps around rice and your choice of fish or vegetables. This is another delicious way to enjoy the art of sushi.
If you’re a new sushi eater, our biggest piece of advice to you is to not be scared. Don’t judge a book by its cover. Or in this case, don’t judge a fish if it looks unappealing. Raw fish is packed with tons of flavor. But if you’re a vegetarian, there are also great options for those who don’t consume meat.
Natto is fermented soybeans and packed with tons of nutrients. You can eat natto in any roll form. There are also vegetable rolls and pickled plum rolls that are packed with flavor and umami goodness!
If you’re hesitant to try new sushi then just remember that you only live once! Sushi is an experience, and who knows? Maybe these new rolls and types of fish will soon become your favorite.
