Man Rides Dirt Bike Through Las Vegas Casinos, Busted By Metro
The only wheel that belongs in Las Vegas casinos is the roulette wheel. Unfortunately one man didn’t get the memo and, instead, rode his dirt bike through casino floors, up and around stairs and more.
R.A.I.D. officers conducted surveillance on known reckless rider. This individual had created multiple events on Las Vegas Blvd, where he rode through casino floors, up stairs and escalotors. #NotSmart. He did wheelies up and down Las Vegas Blvd and ran from Law Enforcement. pic.twitter.com/Ao9S1yf32B

According to a post on social media from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the man made a scene up and down Las Vegas Boulevard… riding up stairs and escalators, into casinos and more. Police tried to catch him but he fled. Metro’s Racing Apprehension and Intervention Detail team, or R.A.I.D., pursued the suspect and even an air unit conducted surveillance and eventually popped the perp. His dirt bike and truck were impounded. He was, of course, found wearing a shirt saying “till the f***in’ wheels fall off”.
While we don’t know the where and the when in regards to the dirt biking and arrest, we do know how much trouble he’ll be in.
What charges is the Las Vegas Strip dirt bike driver facing?
Gear up, because this dude is in for a laundry list of charges that could have him facing some serious time. According to @LVMPD on Twitter, the rider faces:
- 3 Felony Counts of Driver Disobey Peace Officer, Endanger Person or Property
- 4 Gross misdemeanor Counts of Disregard For the Safety of Person or Property
- 4 Misdemeanor Counts of Reckless Driving
- 1 Felony Count of Assault with a Deadly Weapon
- 1 Felony Count of Child Abuse and Neglect
- 1 Felony Count of Coercion with Force or Threat of Force
Metro is quite obviously proud of popping this guy. They threw down hashtags like #YouDefinitelyDidntThink #YouCouldHaveKilledSomeone and #YouAreAWinnerAtaLosingGame. While they are all technically correct, they could benefit from shorter, more creative ones. #DirtBikeDingleberry is our favorite.
If you are going to be a goon on a dirt bike in Las Vegas, you better get a permit and televise it on ESPN.
