Have you ever had that McDonald's craving, got in the car and head to the drive-through just to get told they no longer serve your favorite item?
Well, if you love McDonald's bakery items like the apple fritter, frosted cinnamon roll, and blueberry muffin, prepare to be disappointed. But don't shoot the messenger. McDonald's recently announced that they are discontinuing these fan favorites. McDonald's has shared that they are discontinuing these products to focus on new offerings, but some fans are still not taking it very well.
Many McDonald's fans have taken to social media to express their disappointment at the news. Personally, this decision makes me sad because the cinnamon roll is my go-to on a busy Saturday morning! If one of the items is your fav, go grab them while you can. Time is running out.
However, not everyone is upset about this decision. A few people have voiced their support for McDonald's because they know when they take certain things away they always add something new. For instance, one good thing they just announced last month was that they were going to bring back the Oreo Frappe!
But if you are one of those disappointed fans, don't fret.
McDonald's still has a few items that you can try to satisfy your sweet tooth. Their iconic Chocolate Chip Cookies, Baked Apple Pie, and frozen desserts (When the ice cream machine works). Now, maybe these items might not replace your favorite bakery item, but they are still worth a try.
While McDonald's may have discontinued some of our favorite bakery items, we got to appreciate their effort to introduce new awesome items to the menu. By discontinuing old items (even if their McDonald's Fan Favorites), McDonald's is opening up space for new products like they always do. So, if you are looking for a new treat, always know McDonald's has your sweet tooth's back.
