Husband In Dog House Over Taylor Swift Tickets
We all have our favorite artists, and we go above and beyond to see them in concert. That’s what Bear Silber did for his wife, who is a Taylor Swift superfan. But what happens when you show up a day late, even with your tickets in hand? Well, that happened to them. Bear bought tickets for his wife and himself for the Santa Clara, CA, show for $500 each (he must have gotten a deal), plus $60 for parking. But when they showed up at Levi’s Stadium, they were met with a harsh reality. They had missed the show by one day. This is what landed him in the dog house.
The first question that comes to mind is how Bear Silber managed to get the date wrong. He had bought the tickets months ago and just assumed they were for the Saturday show. As you can imagine Bear knew he was in the dog house Saturday night when they got home to Oakland. We need to add, the flights cost him $600 and money for a hotel as well. All Bear and his wife know is, this was a very expensive mistake.
After realizing their mistake, the couple had to just head back home to Oakland, CA. with no new friendship bracelets. They opted for the Inglewood show this coming weekend, and this is where things got even more expensive. The couple ended up spending $2,600 on two tickets to the show. That’s over five times the price they initially paid for the Santa Clara concert. Bear can’t attend this show because he has to work so his wife is taking her friend.
Now, some might wonder why the couple didn’t try to get a refund for the Santa Clara tickets.
Unfortunately, the website states that all sales are final, so there wasn’t much they could do. Some have even criticized the couple for not paying attention when buying the tickets and not double-checking the date beforehand. It’s easy to make fun or say ‘How the heck did he do that?’ but we have all made mistakes maybe just not as expensive as this one.
In the end, no harm to anyone but the bank account, and his wife still gets to see Taylor Swift in concert and that’s all that matters. Do you know what they say? Happy wife happy life.
