Legendary Performer Donny Osmond Extends Run At Harrah’s
Six weeks. That’s how long Donny & Marie were set to perform at The Flamingo when they signed a residency deal. That six weeks turned into a lengthy 11 year run that entertained hundreds of thousands. All good things must come to an end, but Donny Osmond wasn’t done with Las Vegas. Turns out, Las Vegas isn’t done with Donny either.
Harrah’s Las Vegas Showroom has been the home of Donny’s solo residency since August 2021 and history is repeating itself. As it often does in Las Vegas, if the people show up so too do the renewals. The Best Of Las Vegas award winning show just got renewed into 2024.
The property announced that Donny’s residency will be adding a ton of new performances to his schedule:
- January 2024: 23-27, 30-31
- February 2024: 1-3, 13-17, 20-24, 27-29
- March 2024: 1-2, 12-16, 19-23, 26-30
- April 2024: 2-6, 30
- May 2024: 1-4, 7-11
Donny Osmond, a star 60 years in the making
It is almost hilarious to think, but Donny Osmond got his start on-stage with The Osmond Brothers at the tender age of five years old. That young boy would later be one of the heartthrobs of The Osmonds and adorn the TV screens, radios and magazines of adoring fans worldwide.
Having that much fame that early could potentially turn you into a monster. But ask anyone who has met him at countless charity events in town and they’ll tell you – he’s the real deal. His work with the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation hosting Champions Run For Life, replacing fallen friend Danny Gans. Shaving heads for St. Baldrick’s. If you ever meet him, he’ll likely treat you like your an old friend.
Donny is the real deal and his show is really – REALLY good. At 65 years old it looks like he’s competing for Justin Bieber’s spotlight than an Ensure commercial. Certainly one of those artists you should see before it’s too late. Thankfully given his incredible run in town, that time may be a long ways away.
