Marc Rebillet Teases Show At Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas

Loop Daddy hath spoken! Marc Rebillet, the viral musician known for his off the cuff beats and improvised and sometimes quite hilarious lyrics, is returning to Las Vegas. He has teased a new show at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas. Let him cook, and his children will eat. The date is TBD, but we are ready.

Fans of Marc Rebillet already know. But if you've never heard of him, chances are you're asking...

Who the hell is Marc Rebillet?

Great question. The Dallas-born internet star was first thrust into the spotlight after fleecing a greedy woman in line for an iPhone.

There is a young Marc Rebillet. Marc was 18 years old in 2007 and first in line to buy an iPhone... but took $800 so a woman with $100,000 could sell the store out. That'd leave everyone else out of luck. Well, she was told nope, only one per customer. Marc was $800 richer. The internet laughed.

That little bit of internet virality was just the tip of the iceberg for Marc.

Marc Rebillet turns into Loop Daddy

He dropped out of college where he was studying to become an actor. He took a bunch of jobs, quitting one in hilarious fashion. His music career was starting to slowly bubble to the surface. His songs (many of which you'll find below) were starting to go semi-viral. That's when I discovered him in 2018 at less than 80,000 YouTube subscribers. He is now at over 2.2 million.

Don't get caught up in the "goofiness" of some of the songs. His ability to effortlessly loop and generate incredible beats and lyrics out of thin air are nothing less than a miracle.

At one point, I had Donny Osmond (yes that Donny Osmond) at my cubicle and had him listen to these two songs. Donny was astounded and impressed. So was the rest of the planet. From playing Las Vegas on New Years Eve at the Golden Tiki, to Coachella, to a random street corner in Brooklyn. Marc Rebillet and his talent was made for the internet age.

His 2021 Brooklyn Bowl show was outrageous...

It was an absolute madhouse. A fan who followed him to several shows had her mom in tow. Soon after, she was on stage twerking alongside an underwear clad Rebillet. (He wears a robe and eventually gets near naked on stage). Fans were flinging items on stage for him to wear. A few "hits" were played but much of the night was improvised.

Obviously the show was a hit... now Brooklyn Bowl wants him for more.

Even the most fickle concertgoer will love going to a Marc Rebillet show. Here's some of my personal favorite songs... but know that when you go, you'll get a completely different experience that will at points sexy, hilarious, outrageous and fist-pump inducing.

Here's a preview of some of what you can expect from his music and his shows. Know that it's probably not that safe for work.

"Silly Bitch"

This is the first track I ever saw. There in his apartment in late 2017, making a sick backing track fully orchestrated by him. Then the lyrics start...

"Stop That..."

It's a great song with an even better message... even if you don't expect it at first. (I legit had Donny Osmond watching this video and he was dying)

"You Were There"

It's not ALL goofy. This guy has soul. Marc Rebillet shows his range with this track...

"Day 6: Zurich" (I Don't Wanna Make A Song)

Marc was on a European tour and challenged himself to make a brand new song in the hotel room every day of the tour. Day 6, he's having regrets. It's a raw song that ended up being one of the best of the tour.

"We Outside: Almost Episode 8" (The K-Pop Song and near arrest)

Despite having a ton of success, he still makes it a point to hit the streets of New York to play free shows. They don't always go to plan though. He started playing right away, throwing down hot fire for K-Pop dancers... but the dancers couldn't hear their music. NYPD told him to scram or risk arrest. The show was over in a matter of minutes... but the song was actually pretty great.

"We Outside: Resurrection" ("Do The Gumbo" and "Be What You Want" from Episode 9b)

Two weeks later, he's shut out AGAIN by a Cuban music DJ who "owns" the block he chose that weekend. He was super disappointed but didn't want to cause a scene. I know because I got there and witnessed him shutting down minutes after beginning. He was not too hot on setting everything back up, but he did it anyways and had one of this best street corner live shows ever. I was at the airport by the time this happened. I'm not bitter. Promise.

"Your New Morning Alarm"

Coming from one of this apartment live streams... this entirely improvised track shows his genius at work. Making a sick beat, and figuring out where to take it. When the moment hits him (roughly 2:53)... it's a hype track I use for my morning alarm.

"Another Idea"

Another creative twist on his inner monologue. Making new ideas for tracks isn't easy, but here he is pulling one out of his ass.

"My Name Is Marc Rebillet" and "Natalie"

Want a preview of what to expect at a show? Behold. If you're awesome enough, you'll end up on stage and find a date.
