Christmas Items In Stores Have People Shook
It is barely September, and Costco stores across the country have already started selling Christmas decorations, wreaths, and wrapping paper. Some customers have taken to social media to express their surprise while others are excited to start shopping for the holiday season. Costco, known for its excellent deals and rotating products, has also started selling Christmas items online, including an LED Christmas tree that’s worth… oh ya know… $1,800!
The early release of holiday items seems to have some people shook, while others are starting their Christmas shopping early. Which type of person are you? I wish I was the early shopper but I am most definitely not. I feel like it’s overwhelming no matter when you do it. If you do it too early for anyone it gives them the chance to buy the items for themselves.
Now, don’t get us wrong, Costco isn’t the only store to skip holidays. I was at Target before July 4th and there were already Halloween costumes in the kids section. No more pool floaties just straight to Halloween. Walmart has replaced the outdoor grills with pumpkins and scarecrows.
When can we just hang on to the holiday that is next in line and stop jumping all over them?
It seems that people are divided over the early arrival of Christmas items in stores. While some are thrilled, others believe that the holiday season deserves more time with family rather than shopping and also to slow down time. But whatever you feel one thing is sure – Christmas has already started invading for the festive season. So, whether you’re excited to start shopping for Christmas early or feeling overwhelmed, let’s share love and joy this Christmas season, no matter how early or late it may be.
