The company is seeking a pool of individuals who are ready to take the plunge and become a lifeguard at one of their various properties this upcoming pool season.
MGM Resorts Job Fair
Are you ready to trade in your flip-flops for a whistle and become a hero this summer? Being a lifeguard is more than just a job; it’s an adventure, a learning experience, and a chance to make a real difference. Those ready to start their new career as a lifeguard can attend an in-person lifeguard hiring event held by MGM Resorts on Wednesday, February 21 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm. According to News 3, the hiring event will be held at the MGM Resorts Career Center, and “Interviews with hiring managers will be conducted at the event, with jobs being offered on the spot to qualified applicants.”
Although MGM Resorts is only hiring for their upcoming pool season, the season actually lasts for the majority of the year. Lifeguards who are hired can expect to work starting at the end of February and ending in early November, just in time for the chaos of the holiday season. Talk about perfect timing! Mandalay Bay
Mandalay Bay Beach, has a lazy river and wave pool on site. It offers weekend access to locals depending on weather and availability.

Locals can book daybed reservations at discounted rates at both resort pools Mondays through Thursdays. Daybeds range from about $100 to $175, depending on availability. Locals can also go swimming in the resort’s Boulevard Pool during the Dive In Movies series, a weekly event on Monday evenings where movies are played on the pool deck. Local admission is $10.

Sandbar Pool at Red Rock offers day passes that start at $35 per adult and $20 per child. Prices increase on weekends and holidays.
