Las Vegas Aviators 2024 Season Opener Will Be A Blast
The Las Vegas Aviators 2024 season is sure to be filled with hits, homers, and larger crowds than their big league brothers. With the season opener only days away, the team is getting us pumped for some baseball!
The Las Vegas Aviators 2024 Home Opener Will Be A Blast
What better way to celebrate a sporting event in Las Vegas than to put the beatdown on a team from Reno. UNLV has made a habit of it for years, and the Aviators are no different.
This Friday, March 29th, Las Vegas’ Triple-A baseball team will take the field for the season and home opener against the Reno Aces. But the game will only be half of the fun. The US Air Force 17th Weapons Squadron who fly out of Nellis Air Force Base will be doing a flyover at Las Vegas Ballpark before first pitch at 7:05pm.
After the game, a fireworks display will go off to celebrate what should surely be an Aviators victory. If you haven’t been to a game at Las Vegas Ballpark, you are missing out. The venue is absolutely incredible and the games are a lot of fun for the family. Plus tickets are incredibly reasonable whether buying direct or with a Pogo Pass.
This Will Be A Series To Watch
The Las Vegas Aviators 2024 season starts how the 2023 season ends… with the Reno Aces in our headlights. Last year was a tough one for the Aviators who went 2-8 in the final ten games of the season, slipping to 3rd in the Pacific Coast League West behind, you guessed it, Reno. Reno went 8-2 in their last ten to end the season strong, but not strong enough to make it to the National Championship Game as they did in 2022. There, they lost 10-6 in the final game at Las Vegas Ballpark, who has hosted the game for the last three seasons and will again this year.
