Hey eco-warriors! Iv got you some ways to celebrate Earth Day. Earth Day 2024 is right around the corner. Coming up Monday, April 22nd. What better way to celebrate our beautiful planet than by taking action to protect it? Here are five fun and meaningful ways to celebrate Earth Day.  You can make a difference this Earth Day and every day!

  1. Plant a tree: Get your hands dirty and get planting. Trees are nature's air purifiers, soaking up carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen! Get your friends or family together especially the kids, head to the backyard, and plant a cute tree. It will be a memory you can make together and every year you will see how much it has grown and you'll be reminded how much you've helped the planet. Then that will be one of the ways to celebrate Earth Day around that tree every year!
  2. Clean up your neighborhood or a park: Grab a pair of gloves and a trash bag and hit the streets. Clean up any piece of litter you see around your area, safety of course. You can even join a community clean-up team or organization. By cleaning up the litter in the streets and parks you're preventing pollution and saving people and animals!
  3. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle CRAFT PARTY! This is my favorite one. Gather materials like old magazines, cardboard boxes, plastic bottles, or even some of the things you picked up on your neighborhood clean up walk. You can make DIY bird feeders, maybe some jewelry, a vision board, any and all art. This will be fun, you'll have a blast but also save the planet at the same time!
  4. Switch to better habits on Earth Day and going forward: adopt more eco-friendly habits in your daily life. Maybe quit using single use plastic silverware, or get yourself a water bottle and stop using plastic water bottles, if you are going somewhere close use a bike or walk. Those seem simple and maybe small but they can make a huge difference for the planet. Hopefully, you can challenge yourself to commit to one or all of these things moving forward!
  5. EDUCATE: Spread awareness. Teach your kids friends and or family of ways that they can make a positive change. Share informational posts on social media. Participate in local environmental initiatives. It just takes a little bit of effort and it can go a long way. You will make a lasting impact long after Earth Day.

What are the ways you celebrate Earth Day?

So there you go! Five fun and meaningful ways to celebrate Earth Day and make a difference for our planet, for the planet our kids are going to grow up on. Get The $1,000 Infamous Wagyu Tomahawk From Papi Steak

Yes. This steak costs $1,000. But why? Well first off, this steak presentation is supposedly inspired by "Pulp Fiction." So, that elevates the "cool" factor of this steak. The steak is a homage to the luxurious bottle shows that are seen in many clubs in Miami, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, etc. The steak is presented in a temperature-control gold box, according to the Miami Herald.

The steak is brought out with a plethora of waitresses, waiters, etc. who also hold flashing lights that turns this fine-dining experience into a high-energy club. Many videos across different social media platforms show this experience of people getting showered in flashing lights and chants from the staff while a waiter "brands" the steak. What's the purpose of this? Well, we're not exactly sure. But, it makes for a nice photo opportunity!

The steak that is plated is a MS9+ Australian Purebred Wagyu Tomahawk. According to the Meatery, Australian wagyu is about 93.75% Wagyu genetics or higher. So, it's a tasty treat and will probably melt in your mouth. Bottle service is 2021 anyways.

Indulge In Omakase!

What is Omakase, you may ask? Omakase is a Japanese way of being served. Omakase quite literally means, "I leave it up to you," according to Sushi Umi's website. Essentially, a chef curates a coursed-out menu for you, and it's an intimate dining experience that takes you on a culinary adventure. The chef creates the menu and usually explains their inspiration for the dish.

Along with being an experience, it's also usually expensive with may omakase dinners ranging between $150 and up. In Las Vegas, one of the most famous spots for this type of dining is Kame Omakase.

The signature omakase will cost you $500 per person and the premium option is $350. There are two time slots available each night, and it's between the time of 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m., according to the restaurant's website.

Omakase dinners usually serve fresh sashimi, expensive cuts of meat and fish such as controversial blue fin tuna, high-quality sea urchins, sweet shrimp and more. It's the type of dinner that you never forget.

Have A Wedding

In Las Vegas, you can throw a beautiful wedding for just $1,000. There are many budget-friendly wedding packages available throughout different casinos.

For example, at the One Love Wedding Chapel, which is where Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker threw a faux-wedding, the most budget-friendly package starts at $99! The most expensive package is $800, which includes a limo ride.

The Little White Wedding Chapel. another famous chapel that had many celebrity appearances, has packages that start at $150. The Tunnel of Love Extravaganza is around $225 while the Pink Cadillac and Gazebo Ceremony are both $150.

$1,000 in Las Vegas can give you a wedding and a honeymoon all in one! You can spend the rest of the money you have on a great dinner, spa nights, a hotel stay, sweet concert tickets and more!
