Why People Think Las Vegas’s Kyle Busch is a Jerk
Kyle Busch, one of NASCAR’s most talented and successful drivers, is great at racing no doubt about that. But his racing skills sometimes get overshadowed by his…strong… personality. People think he is a jerk sometimes. Fans, fellow drivers, and media. Let’s take a look at why people think he is “that guy”.
He has an aggressive driving style. This is one of the reasons he is great at what he does but also the reason he gets a lot of criticism. He has intensity on the track and a lot of the time leads to accidents and wrecks. Some people will say that he lacks respect for others on the track.
He has a lot of outbursts if you will. Some people think he has an attitude while others think he is just unfiltered. He definitely doesn’t shy away from speaking his mind even if it means stepping on other’s toes a little bit. Some people think it’s refreshing but others think he can be disrespected.
Kyle Busch Is Always Fighting
Busch has had a lot of pretty high-profile feuds. He has fought with Brad Keselowski, Joey Logano, Kevin Harvick, and most recently Ricky Stenhouse Jr. They had a fistfight after the race this past weekend. He gets in verbal spats and physical altercations and it seems like they are always captured by the media.
Some people would say he’s got poor sportsmanship. Kyle Busch sometimes refuses post-race interviews after losses or disappointing finishes. You can find him sometimes sulking instead of congratulating fellow racers. You can look at that two different ways.
His press conferences are interesting, to say the least. The media and his relationship are strained. Therapy won’t even fix this one. It’s not a love-hate in that relationship. I think it’s a hate-hate.
Kyle Busch’s reputation as a jerk has been going on for some time. The aggressive driving, outspoken nature, feuds with racers, media, and fans, and sportsmanship but one argument to be had is he is super competitive. He doesn’t like to lose. The media doesn’t portray him as good in any light so I believe he has just taken hold of his bad-guy persona and owned it. Or maybe he just really is a jerk. But at any rate, he isn’t in the personality field he is in the racing field and he is great at that!
