My Frontier All-You-Can-Fly Pass Review
When I first saw it, I couldn’t believe my eyes. “Frontier All-You-Can-Fly Pass.” It has to be too good to be true, right? It can’t possibly live up to the name without some major catches, can it? That was exactly what I was thinking before I bought mine, and if you’re reading this, you’re probably thinking the exact same thing. That’s why I am writing my honest Frontier All-You-Can-Fly Pass review.
How Does The Frontier All-You-Can-Fly Pass Work?
Let me start by saying that I went all in and opted for the Annual Pass, which let’s me fly from May 1st, 2024 through April 30th, 2025. They also have a Monthly Pass and a Summer Pass available for purchase for those who don’t want to throw down as much cash or simply only plan to travel during those time frames.
Basically, for the Annual Pass, the concept is you pay $599 and you can essentially fly anywhere anytime (with the exception of a list of blackout dates) using an unlimited number of flights. Seems too good to be true, right? I was super skeptical at first too, but as someone who craves adventure and thrives off of spontaneity, I decided to give it a go and see what this thing was all about.
My Experience Using The Pass
Last Friday, I got off of work, and I had no plans for the weekend. I realized that this was the perfect opportunity to put my Frontier All-You-Can-Fly pass to the test (as you can only book flights with the pass up to 24 hours in advance).
I went on Frontier’s website and started searching for flights. The pass allowed me to book a roundtrip flight to Dallas, TX, and I only had to pay $30.22 (you still have to pay some taxes and fees upon booking). I was in shock. I quickly packed a bag and headed to Harry Reid International Airport for my departing flight that night.
The booking process was honestly seamless… with one exception. When I was browsing cities to fly to, most of the flights were not direct, and, to make things worse, most of the available flights involved a layover that was anywhere from 12 to 24 hours long.
I guess if you’ve got the free time on your hands and the yearning for an additional adventure on the way to your actual adventure, that works pretty well. But for myself, I needed a roundtrip flight that was going to be started and completed within the weekend.
Upon checking in for my flights, I had no issues getting a seat assignment (which was one of my worries). Actually, on my departing flight, I got really lucky and was assigned one of the big, extra-room seats up at the front of the plane. Talk about a major score!
My Overall Frontier All-You-Can-Fly Pass Review
Listen. If you’re like me, and you can handle booking a flight literally the day before you leave, this pass is for you. If you want to travel and sight-see for cheap, this pass is for you. If you can handle the many quirks and lack of frills that Frontier offers for the duration of a flight, this pass is definitely for you.
Overall, I reflect on my first experience using this pass very fondly. This pass is a game-changer for me, and you can bet I will quickly be getting my money’s worth on this thing. After just one roundtrip set of flights, I’ve nearly made it back already. My advice – if you read the conditions above, and you think you can handle them, don’t hesitate to make this purchase. That’s my honest Frontier All-You-Can-Fly Pass review.
