Clark County Hiring At Hiring Events For This Position…
Those looking for a job that is rewarding but not super time consuming ahead of the 2024-25 school year… You’re in luck. Clark County is in desperate need of crossing guards as we barrel towards August 12th, and in order to fill these positions, they will be hosting Clark County hiring events.
According to News 3, the hiring events will be held on the dates and at the locations below:
- Monday, July 29 | 2 p.m. – 4 p.m., North Las Vegas Library, 2400 Deer Springs Way
- Wednesday, July 31 | 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., East Las Vegas Library, 2851 E. Bonanza Road
- Thursday, Aug. 1 | 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., Enterprise Library, 8310 S. Las Vegas Boulevard
- Friday, Aug. 2 | 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., Clark County Library, 1401 E. Flamingo Road
- Friday, Aug. 2 | 10 a.m. – 12 p.m., Sahara West Library, 9600 W. Sahara Avenue
- Monday, Aug. 5 | 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., Rainbow Library, 3150 N. Buffalo Drive
How To Prepare For Clark County Hiring Events
Interested in working as a crossing guard this coming school year? Planning to attend one of the numerous hiring events? If you’re 18 years of age or older and you can pass a background check, you’re off to a great start towards landing your new gig.
It’s also very important to note before you leave for the event, you need to have two specific forms of identification with you OR a valid U.S. passport.
If you do not have a valid U.S. passport, plan to bring one document from each of the lists below:
- Driver’s license or identification card issued by a state or outlying territory of the U.S. provided it contains a photograph or information such as name, date of birth, gender, height, eye color, and address.
- ID card issued by federal, state or local government agencies or entities, provided it contains a photograph or information such as name, date of birth, gender, height, eye color and address.
- School ID card with a photograph
- Voter registration card
- U.S. military card or draft record
- Military dependent’s ID card
- U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Document card
- Native American tribal document
- Driver’s license issued by a Canadian government authority
One second form of identification from this list:
- U.S. Social Security account number card
- Form FS-240, Consular Report of Birth Abroad
- Form FS-545, Certification of Birth Abroad, issued by the U.S. Department of State
- Form DS-1350, Certification of Report of Birth issued by the U.S. Department of State
- Original or certified copy of a birth certificate issued by a state, county, municipal authority or outlying territory of the United States bearing an official seal
- Native American tribal document
- Form I-197, U.S. Citizen ID Card
