The Plaza Las Vegas Pickleball Offers Free Games For Locals
The Beatles. Sliced bread. Pickleball. All crazes that have swept through America and never let go of its grip. When The Plaza Las Vegas pickleball courts were announced, it was met with a lot of confusion. Wait… why are they playing fake tennis at a casino? Now we know they were visionaries and saw the potential of the game.
Well, all this month they want to lure both lovers of the game and the pickleball curious alike. The Plaza Las Vegas pickleball is offering both free open play and free lessons all September long!
The Plaza Las Vegas Pickleball Deal Is An Ace
Here’s the deal happening now through the end of the month. The Plaza Las Vegas pickleball is offering locals waived (i.e. free) court fees from 5pm-7pm on Sundays and Mondays. Plus you’ll get your parking validated (yay free parking!) and, if heaven forbid you don’t have the equipment you need, you’ll get half off your equipment rental!
All you’ll need is your Nevada ID to score the deal, and you can reserve a court on their website. Plus total newbies can get a free lesson Saturdays at 8am. We can write from experience that once you get into the game, you’ll be hooked.
Why Is Pickleball So Popular?
The game of pickleball is taking off, so much so that it is starting to affect tennis’ bottom line. Tennis is mostly thought of a rich person’s sport. With courts being massive, often costing a pretty penny to be on a court that is half way decent. Plus you’ll need to be in great shape to keep up.
Pickleball meanwhile is on a much smaller court. Several can take the space of one tennis court, which is why you see so many courts popping up throughout the valley. Smaller court means less expense to build (and play). It also means not as much running around the court so it is accessible to far more players of varying sizes and socioeconomic backgrounds.
If you’ve never played before, The Plaza Las Vegas pickleball offer is a great place to start. We promise, it is a healthy addiction.
