Taco Bell Just Changed National Taco Day – And I’m Here For It
Move over, October 4th! Taco Bell has just announced they’re shifting National Taco Day to October 1st, making it officially line up with Taco Tuesday. Why, you ask?
Who doesn’t love a day dedicated to tacos that also happens to fall on the most taco-appropriate day of the week? It just feels right to celebrate the glory of tacos on a Tuesday! It’s like if National Margarita Day landed on a Monday and National Wine Day landed on a Wednesday… Or who am I kidding Wine Day is every day for me.
This move makes a lot of sense. Taco Tuesday has become more than just a cute name – it’s a sacred tradition for many of us. My family has tacos every single Tuesday sometimes at home sometimes we order out.
It’s the perfect excuse to grab a taco (or three) without the guilt, because, let’s face it, it’s a law. Taco Bell is really stepping up and saying, “Hey, why not make National Taco Day as fun and fitting as Taco Tuesday?”
National Taco Day – October 1st
While we’re talking tacos, and to get you ready for October 1st let me tell you about my absolute favorite taco spot in Las Vegas…”Asada Mexican Restaurant.” It’s an authentic taco shop in N. Las Vegas, and they get it right in every way possible.
You can get their chef’s kiss tacos (minus the shrimp ones) for just $1 every Tuesday. ONE DOLLAR! Whether you’re into carne asada, al pastor, or chicken, this place is so so good. And trust me, it’s not just about the price the flavor hits the spot every single time. Order ahead if you are going for a quick lunch because they get busy.
So Taco Bell is bringing the fiesta early by moving National Taco Day to October 1st, you know where I’ll be… celebrating the taco love on the real day of the week for tacos at Asada, enjoying the steal of a deal at Asada, where you should be that day too! Happy National Taco Day!
