If you recall, back in 2021 Trey Songz allegedly invited a bunch of women up to his room at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. One of the women ended up being the wife of a Maryland police officer by the name of Tyrelle Dunn, who was visiting Las Vegas with her.
According to TMZ, Dunn heard his wife screaming for help and he tried to get in to get her out of the room. Instead, Songz and a security guard allegedly beat the snot out of Dunn. He sustained injuries so bad that he was left with fractured eye sockets, missed a bunch of work and more.
So, as one does when you’re injured (especially by a celebrity), he sued Trey Songz. When you get sued, you have a set amount of time to respond to the complaint. Trey decided to ignore the lawsuit, so…

The Trey Songz judgement isn’t based on a long trial looking at evidence. His complete ignoring of the lawsuit led to a Las Vegas judge coming to a default judgement. Essentially, Songz forfeits, Dunn wins.
