Free Early New Years Fireworks In Las Vegas Perfect For Kids
The Las Vegas Strip will be packed and Downtown Las Vegas will be rowdy. While they are a lot of fun, they probably aren’t the best place for your kids. The drinks they are flowin’, the dresses are skimpy and who wants to keep a 6 year old up past midnight? What if we told you there were free New Years fireworks in Las Vegas that happen early, are beautiful, and your kids will love?
Well, dreams can come true. If you don’t know about this best kept secret in the valley, you’ll know now and make this a yearly tradition for you and your family.
Glittering Lights Offers Free New Years Fireworks In Las Vegas
While you might think of the beautiful Glittering Lights at Las Vegas Motor Speedway as a “Christmas thing,” they are going all the way until January 5th! After Christmas is a perfect time to visit. The crowds have died down, you can take your sweet time through the display and be merry!
That said, you don’t even have to buy your way in to see free New Years fireworks in Las Vegas (although you should definitely donate to Speedway Children’s Charities, they are great). On New Years Eve, December 31st at 9pm, Glittering Lights will be holding their annual New Years fireworks display!
The event is technically at midnight east coast time, so it’s midnight somewhere! Garden State Fireworks puts on a great show and your kids eyes will open wide with wonder and delight. Then they’ll be asleep before you get back onto the highway. This author has been there several years with the kids, and trust me it is a treat.
Plus if you want to get admission for Glittering Lights, just bring something for Goodwill and they’ll shave $10 off your car’s admission! Its an awesome deal!
