Las Vegas Grinch Stole 100 Gifts In Southern Highlands
Porch pirates are run amok, but one in particular made out like a bandit. This Las Vegas Grinch must have had a huge sack to stuff a massive amount of gifts into, because one Southern Highlands resident was left pretty deflated by the act.
Chris Perron told 8 News Now that his home was the target of a thief who decided to get slimy before Christmas. They swiped a package, and inside of it was around 100 gifts that were meant for the teachers and faculty at his kid’s school.
Now, lets pause for a moment. This is a man that actually decided to go above and beyond to thank his teachers. Often, men don’t get the credit for doing stuff like this. Chris went above and beyond! Props to Chris.
Las Vegas Grinch Ruins Everything
In an action that was only slightly worse than ruining the Raiders NFL Draft pick for 2025, he noticed his doorbell camera go off in his Montagne Marron subdivision in the Southern Highlands area. This Las Vegas Grinch got away with the package and all of the gifts inside.
Perron shared that it has become an increasing problem in his neighborhood, and frankly the entire Las Vegas valley has seen their fair share of it. This author actually had a children’s hat stolen on Halloween night, but the child that stole it was forced by their parents to do a perp walk back to the house and apologize.
Sadly, there aren’t enough parents like that out there.
In the end, Chris replaced the gifts and was out hundreds of dollars because of it. It is worth noting that if you buy your things through certain retailers like Amazon, they’ll cover you if your stuff is stolen up to a certain dollar value.
It might also be worth investing in a front porch gate or even buy a parcel box that locks on Amazon. Hopefully it won’t get stolen before you are able to install it.
