Two Dead, Six Injured in Stabbing Attack on Las Vegas Strip

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Sheriff Joe Lombardo has provided updated numbers on the stabbing on the Las Vegas Strip. Now two have been declared dead, with another six injured at local hospitals. Many eyewitnesses are coming forward saying the victims were mostly "showgirls" taking pictures for tips on the Strip. The attacker was apprehended by police and is currently in custody. The motive for the attack is unknown at this time. The stabbing took place just after 11:40am near The Palazzo according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. The suspect was found down the road in front of The Venetian with blood on their body. Witnesses told a reporter for KTNV that the stabbings occurred in more than one spot and some of the victims may have been the "showgirls" we've all seen taking photos for tips on the strip. Victims have been sent to local hospitals, and their conditions are unknown at this time.
