On Thursday, the VGS family celebrated two years as a radio station. Thank you to everyone who listens, laughs and cries with us on the daily. You are the reason why we love what we do.
We had a stunning birthday party at Ghostbar at Palms. The rooftop bar overlooks the most beautiful part of The Strip. People soaked in the skyline while drinking delicious cocktails crafted by the bar’s mixologists.
Thank you to Ghostbar at Palms for helping us put together a beautiful celebration of community and family. The drinks are delicious, the views are spectacular and the energy is immaculate at Ghostbar.
102.7 VGS Brings Phillip Phillips To Rooftop Party
The night started with some Aimee+Shawn classic radio games like barnyard trivia, radio roulette and more. As we played these games in person, people were supporting one another, laughing and joking with each other. There was an element of magic that happened while playing these radio games in person.
The anticipated act of the night was Phillip Phillips performing for our VGS family.
Phillip Phillips gave an intimate performance with the Las Vegas skyline sparkling behind him. As his powerful yet warm and comforting voice filled the room, people sang and dance to his hit songs.
He performed a setlist of his most-loved songs like “Home,” “Gone, Gone, Gone,” and more. People danced and gravitated toward Phillip’s beautiful voice.
There was an element of emotion and connection to Phillip’s lyricism and poetry through his songs. He told stories of his family, his inspiration for songwriting, his next goals and upcoming projects. He cracked jokes with the audience members, and met every single fan after his performance.
It was a marvelous day filled with fun, laughter and celebration. We met some of our loved regulars like Buckeye Bob, Alyssa Mom of Three, Julie from Albertonson’s, Detective Robert and Southpointe Laura.
