Kelly Clarkson stole our hearts when she won American Idol in 2022 and since then she has become a force in so many different areas. Her versatility, in my opinion, is unmatched. She can sing everything and anything that is why she has some of the best covers of all time.
Her talk show, “The Kelly Clarkson Show” is where she gets to do some of the coolest covers. That is the space where she gets to showcase her incredible vocal talent as well as highlight her super sweet and fun personality.
Kellyoke became something I look forward to when I watch the show. Yes, you read that right – Kelly + karaoke = Kellyoke. It’s the segment on her show where Kelly takes the stage and like nothing sings some of the biggest hits in music, all while making it look honestly effortless. From Aretha Franklin to Bruno Mars, she sings everything, and depending on who her guest is that day she does duets with them as well.
It’s not just about her hitting all and every high and low note and doing it flawlessly but it’s the joy you can tell she gets when she’s singing a new show she hasn’t tackled before. She lives and breathes music and she’s damn good at it!

What makes Kelly truly remarkable is how she embraces every genre under the sun. Pop, rock, country, soul… you name it, she can sing it. And not just sing it, but you would think she wrote and recorded the song. She’s like a musical chameleon!
Maybe we have American Idol to thank for her being so versatile. But we do have to thank them for finding her and sharing her with the world. She is a powerhouse and just an all around kind person from what everyone who has met her says. She has an iconic career and she deserves to be celebrated.
